Over the past 8 years, Chris has built an independent brokerage utilizing the team-centric model, became the first team owner to EARN $1M in net income in three years, and built a following of team leaders across North America that have all become top producing brokerages in their own markets.  
Chris Watters entered the real estate industry in late 2006, as an overconfident new college grad who had it all figured out. With the ink still wet on his new degree in finance, Chris thought he could do no wrong. 

After going through the real estate roller coaster, Chris had experienced both the good and the bad.  He had finally discovered a way to quickly scale the team model and gain massive market share in just three years. With this experience, Chris started to share and teach his accomplishments (and failures) to people with the same vision. 
Watters is best known for building an independent brokerage utilizing the team-centric model in Austin, Texas. Chris built the business model in the middle of the Great Recession and in a highly competitive market that is home to some of the largest national real estate chains. 

His vision and entrepreneurial spirit led him from sleeping on his girlfriend's (now wife's) couch in 2010 to becoming the first team owner to Earn $1,000,000 in net income in three short years. Fueled by a desire to improve the success rate of real estate agents through proven training and innovative consumer-facing programs, Chris has built his business on helping others push past their self-imposed limitations and adding massive value to the consumer experience. 

Chris is a graduate of Texas State University and an Avid reader. He resides in his hometown of Austin, with his beautiful wife and best friend, Amanda, along with their two daughters, Eva and Stella, and two rambunctious dogs, Bentley and Ollie. 
Ever since Chris Watters coined the term, “Brokerage Hacking”, every real estate agent with a laptop and a dream of striking it rich in the industry has been adopting the tactic.

Brokerage Hacking is the process of purposely going through your competitor’s successful business models to reverse engineer their process and duplicate it for your own business; the idea in doing so is to rapidly decrease the learning curve to create a successful top performing real estate team in half the time.

With a following of thousands of real estate agents across the globe, he’s published and sold over 5,000+ copies of his book The Million Dollar Real Estate Team, popularized the concept of a successful Independent Brokerage Model, and helped thousands of agents quickly grow their teams to unheard-of levels. 

As of 2017, Chris’s training's, teachings, and programs have helped teams across the world sell over 1 billion dollars in home sales over the last 3 years. 
Chris is a family man, married to the love of his life and college sweetheart, Amanda Watters. Together they have two little girls, two pups, and live in Austin, Texas.
